It is located in the centre of the village of Stainton on the edge of the Lake District National Park.  Just 5 minutes from the M6 and A66, travelling to all parts of Cumbria and the Pennines is easy without the delays of central Lake District traffic in the peak holiday period.

Ullswater, one of the beautiful quieter lakes of the Park, is only a 5 minute drive.  Similarly Penrith, a small market town with the full range of shops, gift shops, restaurants and takeaways is 10 minutes drive; Keswick, a fifteen minute drive to the West.
